Publication

We invite the Authors of papers written in English to publish their works in the Central European Journal of Communication and Com.Press journal. Other articles, which will be subject to review and then accepted for publication, will be published in a high-profile monograph of the PCA, which is designed to document the results of the Congresses as well as to present the most recent research and empirical findings in the field of Communication and Media Studies.

The following details are required in the submitted paper:

  • first name, surname and affiliation of the author/authors
  • title of the paper in Polish
  • abstract in Polish and English as well as the title in English
  • key words in Polish and English
  • short note about the author/authors

Volume of the article

Up to 40 000 characters with spaces (including text, references, abstract, and the note on the author)

Text format

  • text file in the *.rtf or *doc  format (Word 97 or newer)
  • Times New Roman font, size 12
  • 1.5  line spacing

Editing process

By submitting the article to the editor, you agree to its publication both in print and online. However, the text can be printed only provided that the Authors have obtained positive external reviews and have signed the relevant declaration. The editors reserve the right to introduce all  necessary adjustments and abridgements.

We require Harvard Citation Format, as exemplified in instruction provided below:

Tables, graphs, illustrations

  • tables, graphs and illustrations should be numbered individually
  • each table, graph or illustration should be titled
  • illustrations chosen for publication ought to be of good quality, and should be submitted in a standardised form, with a description
  • each graphic ought to be submitted in the form of individual, correctly titled file (in case of multiple files they should be provided in one folder), as well as in print (in text or printed on a separate page)
  • photos – we require *.tif or *.jpg files with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi at the desired reproduction size
  • graphs – prepared in Microsoft Excel
  • illustrations – ought to be sent in the form of *.cdr, *.ai files, vector or contrast drawings, good quality raster *.tif, *.png or *.jpg files.
